SSL certificates requested through this site must meet the requirements of the bulk purchase agreement between Johns Hopkins and GeoTrust. The certificates must be for a domain that is registered to Hopkins under its non profit charter. Certificates for dot com domains can not be issued under this agreement. The domains must be pre-registered with GeoTrust before an order will be accepted by GeoTrust. A list of the domains that are pre-registered is here.

The SSL certificate is a 2-year certification and the cost is $150.00. This certificate order must have a corresponding Software Procurement and Renewal System (SPARS) request before being approved.
After generating your server's Certificate Signing Request, paste the CSR in the form below. Please make sure that it contains the complete header and footer 'BEGIN' and 'END' lines exactly as in the example below.
2048-bit key size enforcement: All certificates expiring after December 31, 2013 must have 2048-bit or greater key sizes!
NOTE: The common name (cn) in the CSR must be a fully qualified domain name (FQDN), e.g., my-server.jhu.edu, not just the system name.
