Email Client Setup Instructions

Once your JHEM email account is active, you will need to configure your email client settings. IT@JH requires that all connections to the JHEM server be secure, via SSL. If you use Netscape, Eudora or Outlook to access your account, use the following settings for your email client:

Incoming POPS hostname (using SSL on port 995):

(When using POPS, be sure to configure your mail client to "leave mail on server" if you also want to be able to see your email using other methods such as webmail.  Otherwise, all mail will be downloaded to your POPS client and removed from the mail server.)
