Welcome to the Enterprise Microsoft Exchange site. Exchange is Microsoft's version of email, calendar and contacts that is available for your PC, Mac, mobile devices and via the web. The solution includes support for a number of browsers that include Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. It includes support for hundreds of mobile devices such as Windows Mobile, iPhone, iPad and Android. The solution at Hopkins was built with Disaster Tolerance in mind with 4 copies of each mailbox located in two geographically separated datacenters. Two copies are located at Mount Washington and two copies are located at the East Baltimore campus. Enterprise participants are able to share calendars, view free\busy information and experience instant messaging integation with Hopkins faculty and staff using Microsoft Lync. Email archiving using Microsoft native product is now supported.
Hosted email is available at a cost of $5 per mailbox per month.
