
I was recently migrated to Outlook/Exchange and now my "from" address is showing my legal first name. How can I correct this? Login to the portal (http://my.jhu.edu) and go to the myJHED tab, Locate and select: “Change MyInfo”. Locate the "Nick Name" field. In this field, you can type a preferred first name. Be careful not to insert any extra spaces at the end of the first name field or attempt to enter a last name too. These changes will synchronize into the Outlook/Exchange email system and change your the first name in your "from" address. Please allow 48 hours for the change to synchronize. Remember: ONLY a single name can be entered (no spaces…no last name). |
