Q. “I recently changed my data plan to a family data plan or changed monthly usage and my email stop syncing to my blackberry.

 R. Determine whether or not the carrier removed the Enterprise portion of the data plan The Enterprise data plan is required to sync mail, calendar and contacts with the Hopkins Blackberry enterprise server.  Please contact ATT, Verizon or T-Mobile for more assistance.

 

Q. “My Hopkins Email is not syncing and or unable to send email from my Blackberry”
 

R.  Take the battery out of the Blackberry while it’s still turned on and do a cold reboot. Once the device powers back send yourself a test email. If the issue persist you will need to contact the help desk at 5-HELP.
 

Q. "I want to update the device operating system on my Blackberry"

 R. You must first download the Blackberry Desktop Manager for your PC or Mac located here http://us.blackberry.com/software/desktop.html.  After the program has been installed you will need to plug in your device with a USB cable. Make sure you backup the phone first, once the backup is complete the Blackberry Desktop manager will prompt you to perform the software update.
